This week's gold is a concise, curated round-up of the week's great stuff from around the Internet. Every Saturday. Every thing relevant to creating an all-around healthy business and life. Relax and enjoy.
THIS WEEK'S GOLD:
- Success Isn't About What You Do by Jeff Goins gets to the heart of becoming rather than doing. We can all do things to make money, but I have met few who actually embrace the uncomfortableness of fear and dreams to become what they were meant to be.
- I have serious respect for the generous people in my life. I admire the way they have sacrificed themselves in order to give to others. It's a large part of who I want to be. Pastor Jerome Gay laid out some solid truth about this last Sunday in Generosity As An Identity as part of the C.R.E.A.M. series.
- I feel sad when I watch people stop trying, stop learning, stop living and settle into the recliner of life. Josh Linkner's perspective in To Advance in Career and Life, Act Like a Beginner was an interesting take on how to keep growing.
- You never know what can happen from your very small ideas put into action. I was encouraged by this Ellen segment in which a photographer's small idea, became a major photoblog. And then his seemingly small interaction with one boy grew into something much bigger.
I love that being faithful in the small things can become something big. Grow today by doing what you can with what you have.
